MedMove Transport proudly serves Champaign County and Central Illinois communities, and offer intercity, inter-county, and interstate transportation. If you need to travel beyond our standard service area, please contact us and we’ll work with you to accommodate your transportation needs.
Services and Transportation Types
We offer two kinds of specialized transport options to meet your needs: Wheelchair and Ambulatory Transportation.
Using these services, MedMove Transport supports transportation to routine medical appointments such as check-ups, consultations, follow-up visits, and outpatient care, as well as dialysis treatments, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, and rehabilitation services including physical and occupational therapy. We also provide transportation to specialty clinics, assist with hospital discharges to home or another care setting, and offer pharmacy trips for prescription pick-ups. In addition, MedMove Transport offers transportation to mental health appointments, social service–related visits, and airport pick-up and drop-off for medical-related or routine travel needs. Special transportation requests may be accommodated based on availability.
Wheelchair Transportation
We provide ADA-compliant vehicles designed to safely accommodate wheelchairs of various sizes, including power wheelchairs. This service is ideal for individuals who rely on mobility devices and require secure, accessible transportation.
Ambulatory Transportation
For passengers who are able to walk with minimal assistance, we provide dependable door-to-door transportation to medical appointments, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.
Yes, one family member, companion, or caregiver may ride along at no additional charge. A second accompanying passenger will be charged $25 each way.
Please let us know at the time of booking how many additional passengers will be riding along so we can ensure the vehicle can safely accommodate everyone.
We understand that plans can change. MedMove Transport allows cancellations or rescheduling up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time at no charge.
Cancellations or rescheduled rides made less than 2 hours before pick-up are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled within 1 hour of the scheduled pick-up time are non-refundable.
If a passenger does not arrive at the scheduled pick-up location and no prior cancellation is provided, the ride will be considered a no-show. In these cases, a no-show fee of 50% of the agreed rate at the time of booking will apply.
If you need to make changes to your reservation, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can assist.
